Shabbat Services

Shabbat services are conducted on the first and third Shabbat every month. For details regarding the conduct of our services and learn more about our congregation's minchag or traditions, please click here.

Festivals

Please note: We will never turn anyone away from a BPJC event due to financial hardship. Please contact our Treasurer to confidentially resolve any concerns you may have.

High Holy Days. All services will be held at Coorparoo. Visitors welcome, no tickets required. Full details are as follows:

 Wednesday 8 September    Erev Rosh Hashanah, 6:30pm start (followed by a pot luck dairy supper)

Thursday 9 September       Rosh Hashanah, 10:00am start

Friday 17 September          Erev Yom Kippur, 6:30pm start

Saturday 18 September      Yom Kippur:

            10:00am – Shacharit

           1:30pm – Family Service

            3:00pm – Mincha

            5:00pm – Yizkor, followed by Neilah

            6:30pm – Finish and break fast

Visitors to Brisbane. Visitors to Brisbane are always welcome at our events. BPJC extends member privileges to visiting members of other congregations. Please contact the Secretary to ensure we reserve a place for you or for assistance with transportation.
